PROFILE David Williams (Principal Consultant)

After completing a Diploma in Arboriculture in 1988, David started his advisory career working in local government and spent several years working as Arboricultural Officer for Wycombe District Council in Buckinghamshire and then Lewes District Council in East Sussex. After this he spent a number of years as branch manager of a large national tree care company and from 2002 acted as a senior and then principal consultant for a large multi-disciplinary environmental practice.

Arden Tree Solutions was formed in 2008 when David achieved professional status with the Arboricultural Association and Consulting Arborists Society.

David’s experience gives him a thorough insight into tree/building relationships, the planning process and legal framework relating to trees.

In addition, David is a licensed user of the QTRA (Quantified Tree Risk Assessment) methodology and ISA mortgage reporting format.

The practice carries Professional Indemnity Insurance to £1million.
